My story.

I grew up in a town that sprang out of the oil drilling industry along the Gulf Coast. Houma, Louisiana is named for the Houma Nation and is still a home to me. My childhood was spent playing in the humid suburban sunshine with my younger brother, Jace.

I decided I wanted to become an actress when I was nine-years-old after my mom dragged me to theater camp. I left home to attend Syracuse University and from there, went to NYC with a Musical Theatre B.F.A. and a newfound passion for gender studies and LGBTQ rights.

I now live in Manhattan with the love of my life and my cat, Homer. In addition to my performing career, I plan to continue to learn more about directing, playwriting and teaching. A big thank you to every teacher who has helped me along the way.
