Amber Gatlin is an actor, singer, producer and visual artist based in Brooklyn, New York. Born in South Louisiana, her passion for theater began at theater camp with Alice in Wonderland Jr. when she was 9 years old. She earned a BFA in Musical Theatre at Syracuse University and started The Fortnight Project in 2021, a feminist artist collective that produces theater, cabarets, and events that empower artists. The Fortnight Project’s annual cabaret, Her Voice, Her Choice raises funds and awareness for reproductive rights and healthcare. Gatlin is a proud alumnus of BADA’s Midsummer at Oxford program and continues to study acting at Michael Howard Studios in NYC. In 2025, she fulfilled a long time dream of opening an art business with Amber Gatlin Art, LLC., and she continues to bridge the gap between visual and performing arts communities on her Youtube Channel.

    “Sunny Town”, a new mini-series, is set to start shooting in NYC in late June. Led by director R.H. Bless, the cast will be led by Alphonso Walker Jr. and JB Fountain.
